who knows anything about this?

it's my girl's 21st birthday in a month and i thought i would get her a bonsai. but i have a suspicion they are really expensive unless you get an underdeveloped one in which case they are really hard to cultivate.

anyway bonsai are awesome.

so has anyone had any experience with them and can suggest a good species or anything like that?

All I know is about the episode of Saved By The Bell when Mr. Belding was keeping Zach in detention all day on senior skip day, and during one of the periods, he was trimming a bonsai tree.
