but, I'm putting together a paper zine and was curious if anyone here wanted to write something for it. Since it's gonna be my first paper zine im only gonna do like 100 copies or so at first so its nothing super involved but i figured if anyone was interested to let me know.

im looking for, photos, anecdotes, rants, politics, narrative stories, whatever. it's gonna be loosely based around music but its not the main focus of it. anyway let me know.

did i not just say its not gonna be centered around music? besides, if im gonna talk about music, that's the medium I would prefer to do it in, not MUP.

I know I know but you said it will be loosely based around it, so, just a question.

I'd like to write something on the Spinozian ethics of the diy scene in relation to the success of myspace bands.

I will also talk about mascara.

I've installed AIM a few times, but I always remove it because I don't use it.

I'll might install it again later this evening.

I'll write a very short story about a drunk guy and a kid on a child-leash in NYC, if you want. I'm drunk right now, just so you noes.

only about 20% of the people that I know who actually use the net use AIM.

I would like to contribute an article or two... possibly something about the social ramifications of being an individual, just like everyone else. If that doesn't work, I have a shitload of material that 7th graders learn about in basic biology... you know, intellectualize your zine, teach them something. Kory sucks.

I have almost no preference when it comes to instant messenger. I just wish that I could talk 98% of the people I know to use one.

Strangely, everyone I know in Canada went from using ICQ to using MSN. All or the majority of my AIM contacts are from the US. Most people up here think AIM is some sort of "you have to be using AOL and thus are some sort of internet baby" client.

Most business contacts I've had use MSN as well.

Personally, I find them all annoying in their own ways.

I think AIM suffers that same stigma in europe as well, because everyone uses MSN there...which is why i consider it the Eurotrash method of communication.

Yea, I think AIM is mainly a US thing. I just use it because everyone else does (don't really know anyone overseas) and it's good for file transfers.

"Get File" is one of the best internet tools ever. I can't even begin to imagine how much music people have lifted from me using it. True peer-to-peer software.

Seriously, I've become the new Napster for most of my friends. Probally because I'm so anal about organizing stuff that it's easy to find. It's usually a mess when I try and take stuff from people.

Are there any good online bike blogs/compendiums of useful information? Most of the sites I've found are very second-rate.
